How can I demonstrate my income as a business owner?

Self-employment in Poland

For registered and operated business activity in Poland, please provide:

  • NIP (Tax Identification Number).
  • Income and expense ledger or revenue record for the last 6 months.
  • A summary of transactions from your business bank account for at least the last 6 months.

Additionally, we may ask for:

  • Confirmation of tax payments for the last 6 months.
  • Confirmation of social security and health insurance (ZUS) payments for the last 6 months.

Business activity outside Poland:

For business activity registered and/or conducted outside of Poland, please provide:

  • A foreign tax identification number.
  • A financial document confirming cash flow for the last 6 months.
  • Invoices from the last 6 months.
  • A bank statement for the last 6 months confirming income according to your business activity.

Additionally, we may ask for:

  • Confirmation of tax payments for the last 6 months.
  • Confirmation of social security and health insurance payments (equivalent to Polish ZUS) for the last 6 months.

When recognizing income from business activity, we will consider whether it is possible to receive income from foreign business activity while residing in Poland.
