The Tenant Certificate is created by simpl.rent at the end of the tenant verification process. It is done with the tenant's consent, quickly, safely and online. A potential tenant receives a personal link to begin the verification, and then chooses how to confirm their identity and income. Verification of their payment and credit history is done automatically using data from financial and credit information bureaus. It can take up to a few minutes to go through all the stages of the credibility check, depending on the verification path.

This solution enables a tenant to be verified online in three steps:

1. Identity confirmation.
2. Income check to demonstrate they can afford the rent. Tenants must earn a minimum of twice the rent, for example if the rent is PLN 2,000 the tenant must earn at least PLN 4,000.
3. Payment and credit history check to verify any late repayments of their liabilities.

User safety and data protection are our priority. We partner with specialised institutions and sensitive data is encrypted and not transferred to other entities. The entire verification process guarantees the safety and comfort of both parties. In addition, we are listed in the insurance agents register of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and are compliant with the PSD2 and GDRP guidelines.
