Landlord insurance is a solution that provides rent protection and at the same time protection against various risks associated with the lease. With landlord insurance, you can insure a property that is already in the process of renting. The insured receives protection in the event of delays on the part of the tenant or interruption of the lease due to the destruction of the property, as well as legal expenses, support in the form of assistance services and insurance of household and real estate. In addition, depending on the selected package, you can get protection of items against breakage and third party liability insurance in private life.

PZU company provides landlords with a wide range of insurance in the All Risks variant, including rent payment protection insurance beneficial for the landlord. If, for some reason, the tenant does not pay rent for 3 months, the insurer will pay the insured the equivalent of of 3 rents (maximum up to PLN 9,000). The insurance will also work if the premises are damaged and uninhabitable by the tenant – then PZU will pay compensation (within the same sum insured up to PLN 9,000).

Depending on the type of insurance under the purchased package, the damage may be reported by different people. In the case of Home Assistance, damage can be reported by both the landlord (landlord or manager) and the tenant. In other situations, the damage may be reported by the insured person.
