What is an Energy Performance Certificate?
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a document that specifies the total energy demand of a building or part of a building required for its use as intended. The analysis includes energy for heating the building, cooling, ventilation, and obtaining hot domestic water. For non-residential buildings, lighting is also taken into account.
