The Tenant Certificate allows for remote verification of tenants in a few minutes. It reduces formalities to a minimum – it will confirm the tenant's identity, check the credit history and verify whether the income is sufficient to cover the rent. The standard price of the policy is PLN 50 per month. If you verify the tenant, you will pay only PLN 29 for comprehensive insurance protection.
*It is enough that only one of your tenants in a given property obtains a Tenant Certificate

What is landlord insurance?
Landlord's insurance is a solution that provides rent protection and at the same time protection against various risks associated with renting. With landlord's insurance, you can insure a property that is already in the process of being rented. You will receive protection in the event of delays on the part of the tenant or a break in the rental due to the destruction of the property, as well as legal expenses, support in the form of assistance services and insurance of household and real estate. In addition, depending on the selected package, you will extend the protection to protect fragile items from breakage and third party liability insurance in private life.
What does the insurance cover?
PZU provides landlords with a wide range of insurance in the All Risks variant, including rent payment protection beneficial for the landlord. If, for some reason, the tenant does not pay rent for 3 months, the insurer will pay the insured the equivalent of a maximum of 3 rents (up to PLN 9,000). The insurance will also work if the premises are damaged and uninhabitable by the tenant – then PZU will pay compensation (within the same sum- up to PLN 9,000).

Insurance of the landlord as part of movable property insurance protects the equipment of the apartment from the effects of random events, m.in flooding or fire. It also includes organizing and covering the costs of a lawyer's assistance in matters related to renting, e.g. when a dishonest tenant does not want to move out (legal expenses insurance) and a professional, e.g. a plumber in the event of necessary home repairs (Home Assistance insurance). The Premium package also includes civil liability insurance (OC), which can be useful to the landlord when, for example, as a result of a failure not attributable to the tenant, water floods the neighbour's apartment and destroys the carpet owned by the tenant. Then both the neighbour and the tenant will receive appropriate compensation.
What is the duration of the insurance?
Insurance is concluded for 1 year, but protection begins not earlier than the day after paying the premium. This means that if you buy insurance today, it may apply from tomorrow at the earliest (if you provide such a date in the process of buying insurance).
How do I report a claim?
The notification should be made directly to the PZU insurer. This can be done in various ways:
