Can I share information about my insurance policy with my landlord?
Yes. If your landlord invited you to purchase tenant insurance, they would probably like to know whether you have successfully completed the purchase. simpl.rent makes it easy to inform your landlord of a purchased policy.
During the purchase
You can consent to sharing the information at the end of the insurance purchase process. The landlord will receive a notification on their account.
After the purchase
If you skip this step, you can still inform your landlord at a later time. Log into your tenant account, click on the "Tenant Insurance" tab, find the active policy and click on "Send policy information".
