Do I need to insure the contents of my apartment/house?

With building and contents insurance, you can secure your items and those of your household, such as electronics, appliances, furniture, and jewellery, against all risks. "All risks'' means, among other things, accidental damage, fires, floods, hurricanes, thefts, and much more.
