Credit and payment history verification

At this stage of the process, we will ask you to fill in details based on your identity document. Depending on your citizenship and the type of document you hold, verification is conducted based on your national ID card number, passport, or residence permit.

  • If you have a PESEL number: it must be mandatorily specified in the form.
  • If you do not have a PESEL number: verification will be carried out based on your date of birth and details from your identity document.

Based on the authorization and power of attorney granted by you, we analyze information about your financial obligation repayment history across five sources:

  • Credit information Bureau (BIK) – banking obligations.
  • Polish Bank Association (ZBP) – banking obligations.
  • National Debt Register (KRD) – non-banking obligations, e.g., related to apartment rentals or utility bills.
  • BIG InfoMonitor – non-banking obligations.
  • BIG ERIF – non-banking obligations.

The aim is to determine whether you settle your obligations on time and whether there are any outstanding debts in the databases that could indicate a risk of late payments in the future.

Keep in mind that having a loan or a credit card does not negatively affect the result. The key factors are how they are repaid, timeliness, and the absence of overdue debts.

The landlord does not gain access to the details of your financial history. Regulations prohibit us from sharing information about the amount of overdue debts or their source – the owner sees only the final verification result. If you wish to check your entries independently, you can contact us to request the list of databases used in the process.
