What if the tenant doesn't want to go through verification?

Some tenants may refuse – tenant verification is still not standard in Poland. But renting out a property to a stranger means handing over the keys to an asset worth at least several hundred thousand PLN. Checking their financial situation before signing the agreement is not only sensible, it is fully justified. If a tenant avoids verification, provides inconsistent information or pressures you into signing quickly – take it seriously. A few weeks of vacancy costs far less than months of non-payment.

Do you verify non-Polish citizens?

Yes, we verify non-Polish citizens – their identity, debts and income. For identity verification, non-Polish citizens most often go through passport verification. For debts, we use integrations that allow us to check people without a Polish national ID number (PESEL) using their passport number and date of birth. Our app works in Polish, English and Ukrainian, and our customer support team speaks all three languages.
