What happens during the identity verification?
During identity verification, we confirm whether the tenant is who they say they are. They can choose between three methods:
- Verification with the mObywatel government app
- Verification with online banking
- Verification with an identity document
Identity verification with online banking is done through open banking services in partnership with Kontomatik, regulated by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the Bank of Lithuania, a provider of open banking services. Identity verification with an identity document is carried out in collaboration with iDenfy, which utilises advanced technology to analyse documents – similar to what you might encounter when opening an online bank account.
