How to claim rent payment insurance?

You can make a claim to PZU when the tenant delays rent payment for more than 30 days and does not respond to reminders.

Claims must be made through your simpl.rent account.

  • Complete the form and download the summary in PDF.
  • Send the form with required documents to kontakt@pzu.pl.
  • Please title the email "TXW000123123 - safe renting with simpl.rent - email contact".
  • If you prefer not to be contacted by email only, remove "email contact".
  • You will receive a case number, and a designated PZU representative will contact you if additional information is required.

Required documents that must be included in the email. Not including any of the documents may result in PZU not accepting the claim.

  • Rental or accommodation agreement.
  • Bank statement confirming the debt.
  • Reminders sent to the tenant about payments.
  • Invoices for unpaid rent (if issued).
  • Invoices for utilities (if applicable).

Important! The insurer covers arrears that occurred from the beginning of the policy. This means that if the tenant has payment arrears for rent before the insurance was purchased, no compensation will be paid because the loss occurred before the insurance was bought.
