How does tenant insurance differ from tenant liability insurance (OC)?
Tenant insurance is a comprehensive policy designed for individuals renting an apartment or house from third parties. There are three bundles available: Basic, Plus, and Extra, offering varying levels of coverage. Each bundle includes tenant liability insurance.
Tenant liability insurance (OC) is one type of insurance coverage available within the tenant insurance bundles. It protects against damage accidentally caused to a third party (e.g. the property owner) by the tenant, household members and pets living in the rented premises. OC insurance also covers damage accidentally caused outside the rented property.
